Spencer got to be King up at school last week!
And Samantha’s letter of the week was D so she got to be a duck…
and wear her special necklace with a Diamond in it for show and tell!

School days
School is off to a great start for all 3! Some pics from the year so far…

Of course Samantha is living it up at school every day! Her teacher sends us pics of the week so I’ve got lots of cute ones of her class!
Also, because it made me laugh pretty hard – please compare the self portrait (plus dinosaur!) that Spencer drew on his first day of 4K compared to the one Samantha drew on her first day of 4K! ha!
I’ve had the boys giving her drawing lessons since!! 🙂

First Day!
Samantha is back to school! Her first day was on Monday and it was a great day! I had a pretty pink dress picked out for her to wear that day but, when I pulled it out of the closet she looked at me and said, “But Momma, purple makes me stay alive!” I mean…how can I argue with that?! Purple it was!
Purple dress, purple bow, purple shoes!
It was a really rainy day but that didn’t dampen the spirit of my little sunshine! She was excited to get to school!
She’s happy to have some friends in her class!

At least she got the purple!!
When I picked her up she was full of stories about the new music teacher and the Hershey Kiss she got! A great first day!
Meet the Teacher
On Thursday of last week Samantha got to go meet her teacher! She was looking cute as usual with some new sparkly shoes she talked me into at Target!
She’s excited to be in Mrs. Day’s class with lots of sweet little girls that I’m sure will become her BFFs. It was a little overwhelming up there so she was pretty quiet for most of it and gave me a little attitude when trying to get a picture…
but then I did get her to bust out a little smile.
Looking forward to a fun year in 4K!
First Day!
Back to school! The boys started yesterday and, despite a heat index of 108, everyone had a great day!
We had gone up on Monday to meet our teachers. I didn’t get a pic of Maxwell but he has Mrs. Dyess in 3rd grade. Spencer has Mrs. Cox in 1st grade…
Tuesday morning came bright and early and my crew was ready for the day…with some really good hair! 🙂

Samantha and I sure are going to miss the boys during the day! She can’t wait to get to school herself in two weeks.
