This semester Maxwell has done LCA for his elective. It stands for Lights Camera Action and they write, direct, produce and star in the morning news program for the school. He’s really enjoyed it and learned a lot. Parents had the chance to come up last week and see it all in action and even be on the show! Jack’s mom and I signed up to do the pledge…we nailed it! ha! I think we embarrassed Maxwell and Jack to death because after we said the pledge we turned and high-fived each other and that made it on camera and on the show! Awesome.
I was so impressed with all that Maxwell knew how to do! I’m so glad he did this elective.
Now we’re happy to be out of school for Christmas!
Samantha performed in the winter program at school this week. This year they did a musical called The Great Holiday Bake Off and it was just as cute as it could be! They did it 3 days in a row and Samantha looked festive all 3 days of course!
I actually went up there twice to watch the show. I’ll take any excuse the see this girl on stage! She was awesome – knew her songs and had the moves down pat!
Make it a merry weekend!
The 4th grade got to go on their big field trip to Montgomery two weeks ago. Spencer had a fun and learned a few things too!
I also think the bus ride is probably where he picked up the flu because he got sick two days later but…a fun field trip nonetheless!
After a fun HallowEEK, we transformed the carpool area again for Boo Bash! Games, fun, candy…the best day!
It was a busy day with lots of volunteers but I got to see all 3 of the kids during their time at the bash! Samantha was there first and she loved every second!
Love my movie star!
Spencer had a blast with his best buddies…
and obliged for a pic with me!
Maxwell’s grade came in last…
and he got in the photo booth with me!
I even got interviewed about our pumpkin contest for the news!! ha! Unclear if it’s actually going to air but it was fun.
It was a lot of work, a full day, but a huge success!! Best Boo Bash yet!!
