Samantha was a little under the weather last week and unfortunately missed two days of school thanks to the stomach bug. She’s feeling better now though and back to looking as cute as ever for the classroom!
School is cool!
Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...

School is cool!
Back to school and back to cute outfits every day!
Last week her new backpack finally came in and it’s just perfect for my purple loving girl!
Purple and perfect!
A few more back to school things I wanted to remember…
Spartan Day for Maxwell where he got to tour the junior high, practice doing his locker combo, and get all of his supplies…
Lots of supplies!
Several of the boys in Spencer’s grade got together for ice cream after meet the teacher last week. Love this crew of boys…
Samantha’s teacher sent this picture from the first day!
It’s going to be a good year, I just know it!
Thankfully everyone came home with big smiles after the first day of school! This one came running up the driveway first and the first thing she said was “I love my class!” Hooray!!
This one walked up a minute later and gave me a thumbs up which is a sign of a great day!
Of course they had some surprises waiting for them. π
Maxwell finally made it home at 6:15 after football practice and he also had great reports. He said his math teacher is really nice and his schedule wasn’t that hard to figure out. So thankful it was a fantastic first day all around!
Happy birthday Granddaddy! We love you!
Back to school! Yesterday was the first day of school and it all went great. Maxwell had to wear his football jersey but was pretty excited about it all…and maybe a little nervous about the logistics of the day and finding his way around the Junior High.
Spencer was pumped to be in a class with all of his best friends in 5th grade…
and Samantha can’t wait to shine in 3rd grade!
The junior high carpool left first…
and then the other two were off and running with buddies.
Hoping for the very best year for all three of them!
Let’s go!
