Back to school!

Summer was too short and we didn’t want it to end but we had to go back to school. Boo! Before the first day there was lots of activities…supply pickup, Spartan Day for Spencer to get to know his way around the JH, setting up lockers…

The boys then started school on Monday, August 11 but Samantha just had meet the teacher that day. She was looking adorable of course and her hair was on point!

We met Samantha’s teacher who is new to the school and originally from Chicago. Hearing Samantha imitate her Chicago accent is pretty funny!

We also of course had to walk around to say hello to older favorite teachers.

Post Graduation

After the ceremony at school, I organized a fun lunch for a big crew at Paramount just liked Maxwell did after graduation. We rented out the arcade room, had a burger buffet, and the kids had a blast!

That afternoon we had the 6th grade pool party at MBC and everyone had fun…and some boys got too rambunctious and we had to call it quits a little early! Thankfully it wasn’t Spencer and his buddies.

Thankful for the wonderful years at MBE. From Kindergarten to 6th grade Spencey made great friends and had a fantastic elementary school experience.

Now on to new adventures!

Graduation

Spencer is officially a 6th grade graduate! They had a great honors day ceremony on Tuesday of last week and it was a very special day. I am so incredibly proud of the kind, loyal, hardworking, smart kid he is. He is going to rock the Junior High just liked he did MBE.

He was looking particularly sharp for the graduation ceremony…

Samantha helped some other 6th grade siblings hand out programs…

and Spencey looked the cutest on the baby board!

They then had a little reception out front complete with confetti canons that I totally missed because I was stuck in the auditorium still trying to get out but, oh well. Still got some cute pics!
