Before Thanksgiving I got to go with Samantha’s grade on a field trip to the Southern Museum of Flight.

Happy Thanksgiving! We obviously have so much to be thankful for but, this year, I think we’re all especially thankful for the one and only GJ. She always shows up, she makes the hard things seem easy, and she always makes us feel loved. Samantha decided to do her thankful turkey on GJ this year and I think it’s just perfect!!

Bible Club

Veterans Day
We celebrated Veterans Day at school on Wednesday with the very best performance by the 5th grade. I was in charge of the program this year and was so proud of how it all turned out. GJ was still in town on Tuesday when they did the school performance for the other students so we snuck in and watched.
Spencer presented the colors in his scout uniform and then also had a speaking part at the very beginning of the performance which he totally nailed!
I’m so glad GJ got to see it!
The official performance was on Wednesday and I was at the school early to get everything set up for the reception…
