More naples

July 12, 2018

Robert got to join us for the last bit of our stay in Naples. We were so glad he came because everything is more fun with him around!

First things first, we went to see Jurassic World – Fallen Kingdom. Spencer had been watching the other two Jurassic movies all week and was dying to see the new one! It didn’t disappoint!

Robert also took the boys fishing. He originally took Maxwell 2 years ago and then took both boys last year but they didn’t catch any fish. This year they had a good catch! Lots of snook and even a flounder grouper!

Batter up!

June 18, 2018

Like last year and the year before and the year before that, Robert took the boys to a Barons game with his company.

baseball

They were excited and totally into the game much more than in years past! Thankfully Spencer didn’t get lost this year, but Robert did let them have Diet Coke and I think the caffeine had quite the effect!

Combine that with the cookies they had for dinner and these boys were wired! ha!

A fun night at the ballpark!

Egg Hunt

April 3, 2018

I’m going to go backward and recap Easter before Spring break. On Saturday, we put on our best spring outfits and drove down to the annual Inscoe egg hunt. Everyone was looking very, very sharp! (in my opinion!)

I mean…the cutest.

We had a great time at the hunt. The weather could not have been more perfect and we saw lots of good friends and family. Samantha was a bit cranky when we first arrived and seemed to be attached to my leg, but she eventually warmed up and was chasing boys around and loving getting to play with baby Margaret!

Go Speed Racer!

March 8, 2018

Being a Tiger Scout, Maxwell got to participate in the Pinewood Derby for his troop.

scouts

He and Robert worked hard on the car – Maxwell painted every bit of it! He even free-handed that Alabama A on top and the numbers on the side!

We went to the derby on Tuesday night and it was great! They have a fancy digital track and it really was fun for the whole family. There were some pretty impressive looking cars too! The boys were pretty proud when they got their car weighed – it has to be 5 oz or less and Maxwell’s car “The Crimson Tide” weighed in at exactly 5 oz! Score!

derby

After dinner and plenty of goofing around by the scouts, the races started.

Even more excited when he won his second heat!

He lost his third heat – but pretty funny that he lost it to The Auburn Attacker! ha!

Everyone had fun and behaved so nicely – especially these two…

When it came time for awards, wouldn’t you know it – Maxwell won first place for the Tiger Scouts! Woohoo!!

I don’t know who was more proud – Maxwell or Robert (or maybe Daddo! ha!)

Can’t wait to do it again next year!
