TGIF! Some stuff around here lately…
Samantha with her class at school…

and topped off for hat day!

Maxwell had a fun boy scout hike…

Spencer’s class won a pizza party so he got to wear pjs and take a stuffed animal to school…

and he also had a “dress like a Dr. Seuss character” day and we were pretty proud to borrow this Grinch shirt for an easy dress up!

This came home in sweet Spencey’s bag…

Love him. I guess Robert makes dinner right after he wipes Samantha’s bottom every day! haha!
Have a great weekend!
Robert got to go up to class with Samantha on Friday morning for Doughnuts with Dad!

Are they the cutest or what?!

Look at her hugging him. Cutest ever!

Also, I’m just going to leave this here as maybe one of my very favorite things I’ve ever read…

Oh yea. Robert has skills!! Ha! Her teacher said she was as serious as she could be with her answers and didn’t hesitate at all. Love her!!
Maxwell’s basketball season finished up a few weeks ago and what a FANTASTIC season it was! I’d say it was largely thanks to his awesome coach – Robert! These guys played so hard and improved a ton over the course of the season. They were aggressive (really aggressive! I would compare 2nd grade basketball to wrestling in some games! ha!) and had great attitudes all season. They lost some but won more and ended the season with a record of 8 and 4.

They played incredibly well in the tournament and made it all the way to the Final Four where they had to go up against the only undefeated team in the league. It was a great game and our team held their own. Unfortunately, they had a heartbreaking loss by only 2 points. So tough but they played their hearts out and I was so proud of all of them – Coach included!!

L to R: Tripp, Joseph, Crawford, Henry, Owen, Maxwell, and Spencer
Go Red Devils!!
This past weekend the boys got to go sleep on a battleship! Maxwell’s Boy Scout troop took a trip down to Mobile to spend the night on the USS Alabama and, because I was out of town, Spencer got to tag along.

They did a scavenger hunt to explore the ship and then had pizza and watched a movie.

They then settled in for a comfy night’s sleep in their cozy bunks! ha!

I’m not sure there was a whole lot of quality sleep that night and they were up and out of there by 6:30am the next day!

A pretty cool thing to get to do…and a thing I’m glad Robert got to do instead of me! π We love the scouts!
