It’s my turn! Happy birthday to me!

Can’t wait for 41 with the very best crew around me! Never been happier to get to spend my days with these people. It’s going to be a great year!

It’s my turn! Happy birthday to me!

It’s Robert’s birthday today!!!! A year older and a year better!! These kids are so lucky to have the very best Dad around…

and I’m even luckier to have him by my side leading this crazy crew!

Robert, we’re all so glad you just keep getting better. We love you and know this year is going to be even better than the last!

Happy birthday!! We love you!
On Tuesday night we sweated it out at two 4:00 baseball games and then headed straight to the preschool for Open House! Nothing like a busy but fun Tuesday night!

Love my crew!!

Happy Thursday!
In lieu of a birthday party this year, Maxwell asked to take a few friends to a Bama game. With huge thanks to Uncle Ronnie, not only did he get to take a few friends but we all got to go and got to sit in a box! Considering it was approximately 250 degrees that day, we were all incredibly thankful to be in that air conditioned box! Spencer got to take a friend too so there were 9 of us total – enough to rent a van!

Our crew was outfitted in their Crimson and White and ready for a fun day!

The actual temp on our drive down. Insane.

It was a hot walk to our seats!

But the walk was sure worth it because our seats were awesome!

Alabama was playing New Mexico State and ended up beating them 62 to 10. Not much of a game to watch but that didn’t bother this crew one bit! They had plenty of fun making mischief around the box and watching the game occasionally but mostly drinking Cokes and eating ice cream!

It was really a fun fun day all around!

Most importantly, this birthday boy had a fantastic day with his buddies and family! I’d say that’s a happy 9th birthday celebration indeed!

Roll Tide Roll!
Over Labor Day weekend we drove up to LaGrange, GA and had a fun filled 24 hours at Great Wolf Lodge! I wasn’t sure what to expect – and it wasn’t really what I was expecting – but the kids loved it and had a super fun time so that’s all that counts! We did it all but I think the ropes course was definitely the favorite part for the boys. It was really high and awesome! they each did it twice – but couldn’t ever do it at the same time because we only had one pair of closed toe shoes. Thank goodness Spencer wore Natives and Maxwell could squeeze his feet into them!

We got there Sunday afternoon and Maxwell immediately wanted to do the ropes course – even though they sent him to the very high one first he powered through and did great!

We then hit up the water park for a few hours.

That evening Spencer and Robert did the ropes course and we also bowled, played mini golf, and ate really healthy foods! ha!

On Monday morning we all decided we didn’t need to do the water park again but both boys definitely wanted another turn on the ropes course.

While they did that, Samantha mined for gems…

and we all spent too much money in the awesome arcade!

Overall a really fun 24 hours!
