A photographer came to one of Spencer’s games and got some good shots of my ball player!

What a play! If only that ball was still in his glove on that tag. A+ for effort!
Coach Brown looks pretty legit here!

But Spence looks even more legit!

The real champion of the summer baseball season? Samantha! She’s the very best ballpark baby for sure! She’s really learned so much about baseball and can totally follow the game. She’s very good at entertaining herself with whoever is around to play with. I sure do love having my sidekick with me at the games…even if she does drain my money at the concession stand!! ha!

She was such a trooper all season often going with me from Spencer’s game straight to Maxwell’s game. Lots of driving all over town and late nights at dirt fields. She hung in there and never (well, almost never) complained.

Most of the siblings from Spencer’s team. As one mom said, “the concession stand’s best customers!”

I love my ballpark baby!

Missing this one even more today…

but thankful I had the very best dad to grow up with. And very, very thankful my kids get the same!
We sure do love our sporty dad…

our campy dad…

our girl dad…

and our adventure dad!

We are so lucky we all get to grow up – and grow old! – with him!

We love you Robert! Happy Father’s Day!!
After our soaking wet boat trip, we got cleaned up and had a good dinner at The Gulf that night.

Poor little sunburned blue eyed boy.

We got up Monday and hit the beach until it was time to leave.

Love finding these on my phone! ha!

It was a great beach trip all around!
On Sunday we rented a pontoon and tube for a boat day! We invited some friends to join us and had high hopes for a fun day on the water!

The weather had other plans for our boat day unfortunately! While the radar didn’t look that bad, every single pop up shower seemed to pop up right where we were! Each kid managed to get a turn on the tube though…

At one point we had to pull into an abandoned dock to take cover! We were wet but having fun!

We then headed toward Pirate’s Cove to get some lunch…

Spencer’s hat flew off into the water and Maxwell nicely jumped in to retrieve it. He was rewarded later!

We managed to finally get a boat parking spot right as another storm rolled in! Us and all the other people trying to escape the rain fought for a table inside. It was packed but we made the best of it. Overall not the boat day we wanted but an adventure nonetheless! This pic pretty much sums it up – drenched but happy!

On the pontoon! Party in slow motion, 0ut here in the open.
Mmmmmmm motorboatin’!
