Last weekend we attended baby Holland’s baptism and it was a lovely day all around!

Of course Maxwell got in some major baby holding time and couldn’t have been happier!

As cute as it gets!

Last weekend Ronnie very nicely hooked us up with some box seats for the AL v. USF game and it was the most fun! We took a crew and headed down for the 6:00 kickoff.

Samantha and Frances were having the best time the whole day. Their matching outfits, their new hats, their giggles. I love them.

The box setup is always so nice…great seats and plenty of food! These kids were in heaven!

The game was a little touch and go for a while but thankfully AL pulled out the W! Despite some of the bad plays, it’s still so fun just to be there and see the game. No one does pageantry in football like Alabama!

It was also the night they dedicated “Saban Field” and Nick Saban was there at halftime which was cool.

These two were fully entertained – and entertaining us! – the whole night!

And this AL fan simply could not be cuter…

even with a blue tongue!

Roll Tide!!
We had a nice afternoon on the beach Saturday afternoon playing with cousins…

and some even swam out to the sand bar! They might have gotten a few more jelly fish stings but thankfully no sharks!!

It was a perfect afternoon at the beach and I could have sat out there all evening…

But we had to get cleaned up to go to dinner.

We did have a birthday boy to sort of celebrate after all!

Cousins!

We headed out about 9am Sunday morning and I will not go into details of our SEVEN hour drive home but let’s just say we were very, very glad to be home when we finally made it.

A fun long weekend!
Sunday at the beach was a much prettier day! We got up and got going to get in some good beach time!

Samantha had said she wasn’t going to get in the ocean because she’s afraid of sharks…but that didn’t last!

Lots of beach football always!

I’m more of a beach walker and sitter than a beach football player!

We took a mid-day break from the heat to get lunch at The Gulf…

Love my people.

We then made a pit stop at Alvin’s Island…

More fun tomorrow!
On Maxwell’s birthday, we drove down to Orange Beach for the long weekend with Robert’s family. It was a long drive down but we finally got there about 10pm. We were not happy to wake up on Saturday and see this!

Thankfully it cleared up a little that afternoon and we got some beach time in! Hooray!

Unfortunately the beach time also came with some jellyfish stings – which was a recurring theme all weekend!

Thankfully she survived and we had fun.

That night it was pizza, AL football and the baby in the condo – Maxwell was in heaven!

More beach tomorrow!
