Spencer and John headed off to meet up with Penton and others. Unfortunately, as soon as Spencer took off to trick-or-treat, the fan on his costume went kaput!! Boo! He took it all in stride and trick-or-treated as a 4th grader! John’s blow up costume came off too so they were quite the candy hunting pair, ha!

We made it to the bigger neighborhood party and they even had a roaming photo booth! I do love a photo booth…

We finally found Frances so our Movie Star was a happy camper once again. These two did the whole Surrey loop together and got more candy that you can imagine!

We all (except Maxwell) ended back up at the party by dark and hung around for a bit…

but we were home by 7:30 to sort candy! So. Much. Candy.

After a full weekend of football and fun we finally made it to Halloween!! It was a cloudy day but the weather ended up being perfect that night. Not hot, not cold, just right! My crew was ready for it all!!

The Judds

After Boo Bash on Friday, I skipped out on some of the clean up and hit the road at 2:30 to make the 3 hour trip to Nashville! I knew it was going to be a good trip when I got this fortune at Boo Bash!

I rolled into town just in time for a quick dinner before heading into Bridgestone Arena with full VIP Access to the The Judds!!!

It was a fantastic show – especially when you consider everything she’s been through in the last 6 months. I’ve always loved The Judds and getting to see this show was pretty insane!

I got back to the hotel about 1am and was back up at 5am to get back to Bham in time for some very important playoff football games at 8:45! Don’t worry, I made it in plenty of time. I don’t think they missed me one bit while I was gone…for a whole 12 hours. They were living it up at a football party…

The carpool area at school had been decorated in a Big Top Theme all week for HallowEEK and it was really unbelievable! I spent the majority of the weekend before helping to put it all together. So much creativity and talent went into this!

Amazing!! You can even click here to take a virtual drive through carpool to see it all lit up with the 6th graders dressed up! After school Thursday we turned the carpool drive through into Boo Bash with lots of fun games and rides and, of course, lots of candy! Full Boo Bash pics coming tomorrow!
