I finally got the boys up for their annual checkup in January. They got a good report all around!
Maxwell is 4’11 – almost 5 feet! He weighs 81 lbs. That’s up 2 inches and 9 lbs from last year! He’s 25th % for height, and 40th % for weight. He’s steadily growing – though I do feel like he’s on the verge of a major growth spurt!
Spencer is 4’8 and a 1/4 and 74 lbs. That’s a growth of 2 and a 1/4 inches from last year and a gain of 11 lbs. He’s 70th % for heights and 50th % for weight. Strong and growing!
I didn’t get any pictures but here’s some from a few days later – these give a good picture of what it’s like with these brothers!!

Love these goofballs so much.

Thankful for healthy, growing boys and always thankful for good doctor reports!
Robert and I got married 15 years ago today! We’ve gone from two…

to three…

to four…

and to five!

Gosh, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Grateful for 15 years of a life well lived and hoping for 50 more together! I love you Robert!
While down in Naples, we took a little drive over to Ft. Lauderdale to eat at Houston’s! Totally worth the trip to get that spinach dip…

Well, maybe that wasn’t the only reason we went! We stayed in Ft. Lauderdale and took the Brightline train into Miami to go to the Heat v. Lakers game!

Of course Spence had to get some swag…

and we all were pretty excited to see Lebron!

The boys were also excited to see Jimmy Butler and Russell Westbrook. It was a fun game and the Heat ran away with the win!

What a fun night with my favorite people!

After Christmas we headed down to Naples for some rest, relaxation and sunshine! Despite a delayed flight out of Bham, we made it to Ft. Myers with no problems mainly thanks to a full speed sprint through the Atlanta airport! Phew! The kids were happy to get to open some more Christmas gifts…especially when those gifts consisted of cleverly wrapped cold hard cash!

Leave it to GJ – she’s the best!

We didn’t get to to go to the beach while we were down there. It’s still being put back together after the hurricane, but that didn’t bother us!

Gary the Gator even came by to say hi!

We did enjoy some dinners out…

and tried some new foods!

But consumed lots of chicken fingers and fries too! ha! We also did a little shopping…

and made cookies, of course.

As always, the trip was too short and we can’t wait to go back!

See you again soon GJ!
