4th at the pool

We had a fun 4th of July up at the pool! Spencer was still at camp but the rest of us beat the heat in the water!

Thankfully both kids had a few friends up there!

One of the swim team coaches was running all sorts of fun games for the kids – and she was very good about getting everyone to participate! These girls especially had fun with them…

and won some prizes!

Of course there were splash contests! Maxwell, I mean Gerald, gave a good showing in the biggest splash!

As did Robert! Unfortunately, his ear drum didn’t cooperate. Ouch.

I made a very good showing in the adult smallest splash contest but…no picture of course.

I’ll just leave these here with no comment…

It was a fun day at the pool! The boys then played golf and I went home to make some peach cobbler with my all-American girl!

Happy 4th!

Dbat

Between all the baseball games and practices over the past two years, the boys have also put in lots of time at DBat with Trey.

Trey is awesome and I’m so proud of both Maxwell and Spencer and how hard they work.

In the past three weeks I have driven from Birmingham to North Carolina to Birmingham to North Carolina to Birmingham to Tennessee to North Carolina to Birmingham to Georgia to Birmingham to Tennessee to Birmingham. And Thursday I get to go back to North Carolina again! I. am. tired. But it’s all been for fun stuff! I’m more than a little overwhelmed at all the pictures that need to be recapped and shared so starting with something easy today…adult fun! In between all the kid’s activities Robert and I have had some fun ourselves!

I took a quick trip to Naples to go see the comedian Leanne Morgan with GJ. She was laugh till you cry funny!
