Maxwell is home from three weeks at Falling Creek and I think it was his best summer there yet. He had a great counselor, really liked all of the boys in his cabin, and got really into paddling! He went to camp this year with the goal of earning his hamlet. A hamlet signifies that you’ve done enough paddling in a canoe and passed all of the training needed to go out into white water in a kayak! I know that’s what Maxwell was working toward and I was so happy when I saw pictures of him in a kayak in week 3! He did it! Lots and lots of great pictures from three full weeks of fun!
It was back to walking in to drop off this year…I think Maxwell prefers the “drop and go” and I can’t way I disagree. But, I’ll never complain about getting to spend a few more minutes with this guy.

Everyone’s been in different places for weeks but for 2 nights we were all back together! Happy to have all my people home at least for a little bit!
Maxwell and Robert are now gone again but we’re glad that everyone is having fun adventures this summer!

What we love most about him though is how well he loves us. You’re a good one, Robert Brown. We’re so lucky to have you.
