Even though I didn’t end up using them on our card this year, I am glad I got some professional photos taken. They turned out pretty good – but they just couldn’t compete with the turquoise waters of the Bahamas! Still, happy to have great photos of these cute faces at this age!

She always delivers the best presents – this year it was basketballs, footballs, pjs, socks and Barbies! Perfect!

What’s up with Maxwell these days? Well, he got a haircut!
Know what else is up with Maxwell? He ended his first semester at the JH with all As! He rocked all of his exams – he got a 94% on his advanced math exam, a 100% (!) on his advanced english exam, a 97% on his science exam, a 98% on his civics exam, and we’re still waiting on his spanish exam grade but know it will be muy bueno! Amazing! Proud doesn’t even come close to describing it! Way to go, Maxwell!
All I know is we’re in the holiday spirit around here!!

Samantha performed in her final MBE holiday program this week. It was cute – mostly songs with a little bit of “acting”. I just love to watch her on stage. She shines! I went to the first performance on Tuesday and she looked adorable, obviously.
She smiled and sang and nailed it!
I also couldn’t figure out why her skirt was sticking out like this…until I realize they throw “snowballs” at one point and she was hiding two snowballs in that skirt! ha!

I then went up to watch the afternoon performance. Maxwell was out of exams and promised Samantha he would come. I then agreed to pull Spencer out of class so he could see it. They somehow recruited Henry to sit with them. Trouble on the front row!
They (mostly) behaved and Samantha did enjoy throwing her snowballs directly at them!
