Boo!

Happy day after Halloween!  Maxwell had a great first Halloween and got all dressed up as a cute little monkey…or maybe I should say a chunky monkey!  I bought this costume a few weeks ago and he’s definitely grown quite a bit since then!  I put it on him last week to see if it would fit.  We got it on but the hood was a liiiitle tight!  He was clearly very excited about this monkey business…

Luckily the costume still fit this past weekend for Halloween!  Unfortunately, Maxwell seemed just as excited about it as he was the week before…

But, he perked up a bit when I picked him up…

and then Dad got to show off Maxwell’s cute little monkey tail…

Friday Favorite

I thought I would start using Fridays to share some of my favorite baby things so far.  Don’t worry, Maxwell pictures will be included!

Going off the tubby time post yesterday, this week’s Friday Favorite are the Mustela baby skin care products.  I received a basket of all sorts of Mustela products at my baby shower and they are fantastic.  I LOVE the way they smell and I know I will now forever associate that smell with Maxwell’s first year.

My favorites are:

The lotion – Maxwell gets this rubbed into this cute little self every night after his bath.

The No Rinse Cleansing Fluid – perfect for those times in between baths…or after a “blow out” diaper!  🙂

I sure do love my bathtime…but getting out is another story.  It’s too cold Dad!

Fall is here!

Although it’s still getting into the 80’s during the day here, the mornings are nice and chilly and fall is finally here!  I’m sure this time next year we’ll take Maxwell to a pumpkin patch and pick out the best pumpkin in the place (with lots of photos to prove it) but, this year we just got our pumpkins at Home Depot…and they look just fine!

Clearly whatever silly thing Dad was doing above him was way more entertaining than my camera!

Boys and their toys

Thanks to so many of you for commenting yesterday!  I LOVE comments!!  I agree that they both look good either way but think I like #1 in color and #2 in black and white best.  Think I might order some prints!

Up until now, Maxwell really hasn’t shown an interest in toys.  He’d much rather just look at the lights or the ceiling fan.  However, this past week he started to at least notice some of the toys in front of him, such as these on his vibrating seat, and reach out for them…

It’s so fun to see him interacting more and more each day!
