Just a few more things from the end of summer…
Sleepovers…
Back to school shopping….
Birthday dinners…
and lake adventures!
It really was such a good summer – the right balance between scheduled activities and lazy days. Wish it wasn’t over.

Everyone came home all smiles with thumbs up from the first day of school!
Maxwell was all smiles too when I finally saw him at 7:30 that night!
After a long night of tumble and football, the day 2 wakeup was a little tough. But, they made it out the door again!
Glad we’re off to a good start!
First day, best day! All 3 made it out the door on time with no problems!
Looking cute as can be with some awesome new shoes for 4th grade!
Ready for his last year at MBE in 6th grade!
Looking very official in his jersey and ready for 8th grade!
Off they go!
So proud of all three of these great kids and hoping for the very best school year!
Here we go!
Today is the first day of school! I think it’s going to be a fantastic year for everyone. Yesterday Maxwell went up and got his locker set up (no pics were taken!) and Spencer and Samantha got to meet their teachers (lots of pics were taken!)
Samantha has a really cute class this year with lots of her besties. Let’s hope they don’t stay in trouble from laughing and chatting too much!
I didn’t get a picture of Spencer with his homeroom teacher (that’s not cool) but I did snag a pic of him with his old 5th grade teacher that moved up to the 6th grade. We’re exited she’s with this crew for another year!
6th grade mixes up the classes so while Spencer’s bestie isn’t in his homeroom, odds are good they’ll have at least one class together!
Of course Samantha had to stop in and say hi to her 2nd grade teacher. They were pretty pleased that their dresses matched!
A great meet and greet and now on to the school year!
Last week we decided to take a last minute trip down to Naples to end summer! We flew down Thursday afternoon and had a good dinner Tommy Bahama and then had a really good beach day on Friday!
Nothing better than lunch on the beach…
especially when it’s lobster!
Unfortunately, Tropical Storm/Hurricane Debby was making her way into the Gulf and someone HAD to be back for football on Monday so we had to jet out of town earlier than expected. But, we still managed to get in one last excellent dinner at Campiello and a game of scrabble!
It was definitely too short of a trip but I’m still glad we went!
Debby was definitely a downer…
but it’s ok, we’ll be back!
