Alright – the Christmas recapping begins! On the Friday before Christmas Eve, I let the boys invite some friends over for a little cookie decorating party! Maxwell invited Lila, Gabriel, and Butler and Spencer invited Sebastian over. This was Spencer’s first time inviting his own friend over and he was pretty excited!

I had all the cookies ready to go for when they all arrived…

And they didn’t waste anytime getting that icing and those sprinkles on the cookies!

and had little lunch before heading home. (please note that Spencer had no problem hanging with all the big kids! Sebastian played inside with me for a while and then left a little early.)

It was the perfect lead in to Christmas Eve!!

Back at it

Today is the day. Back to work. Back to school. Back to normal. The holidays were great, as always. I so love the Christmas season and am always a little bummed when it’s all over. I think the kids feel the same way and it appears I’m not the only one with a holiday hangover around here…

But, we’ll get back into our routine in no time! Lots to catch up on this week on the blog so stay tuned….

You wouldn’t know it by looking our card but I did actually pay a photographer to take pictures of us this year! They didn’t turn out so well to say the least, hence the card using pictures I took. I was optimistic and actually snapped this super cute mirror selfie of us before we left!

But, we just had bad luck with the photog that morning, mainly because it was freezing. FREEZING! My kids were not having it…especially poor Maxwell who has zero body fat to keep him warm! ha! Here are the best of the bunch (which isn’t saying much!)

This pretty much sums it up – Baby is miserable, Spencer is looking everywhere except at the camera, and Maxwell has a (literal!) frozen smile on his face! Ha! Merry merry!
