We spent 5 days in Naples and loved every second. We did all our favorite things including getting ice cream…
driving the car and riding scooters. We hit GJ up for some toys at Target…
We hung out with Daddo…
We had breakfast at Skillets and did a lot more pool tricks – watch Spencer, Samantha and Maxwell! Overall, we just had fun….
Our stay in Naples is never long enough!
We had a great spring break and even managed to hit up two different beaches! Pretty nice! The trip started with me taking the 3 kids down to Naples. We were all packed and ready to head to the airport…
but when we pulled into the airport, we realized we forgot the car seat for the plane!!! It is ESSENTIAL to keeping Baby wrangled on the flight and we needed it once we landed in Florida. I went on in with the kids while Robert raced home…
He got back to the airport just in time for us to get through security and RUUUUN to the gate in order to board with our A boarding group. Phew! We got settled in our seats – with the help of a flight attendant – and were ready to blast off! Right before take off though a different flight attendant told us we had to move because you cannot have a car seat in the row in front of an exit row. Aaaaargh. Thankfully the entire row in front of us agreed to switch. But, there was no one for Maxwell to switch with so he ended up sitting two rows behind us. My trooper did great though and handled it with no problem!
After the flight and the drive from Tampa, we were all glad to finally be in Naples that afternoon…
The kids really wanted to go swimming. They tested out GJ’s pool but….BRRRRR!
So, we just suited up and headed to the Beach Club for an afternoon swim! (I have no idea why Spence is making this face bc he was very happy!)
It was the best way to end a long day and there were plenty of pool tricks by Baby, Spencer, Maxwell and then even by all three together!

What a weird weather week. It started out pouring rain on Monday, then a bluebird day Tuesday, potentially terrible storms on Wednesday that never came, and then cold on Thursday! Despite it all, we did have fun playing outside…
Maxwell even managed to find a worm in the muck and I didn’t need that thing anywhere near me! ewwww.
My crew thoroughly enjoyed the very small puddles that formed at the front of our yard. Baby got into them first and managed to soak her shoes! They all got smart then and put on their rainboots…all except Baby who doesn’t have any! No worries, Crocs worked!
I had to run to Target the next day and so snagged her some cute new pink rainboots which she was pleased with.
She was not pleased with the second worm Maxwell found however! ha!
I agree Baby! Ewwww!

Well, yesterday went a little different than planned! Because of the threat of really bad storms and possible tornadoes on Wednesday, they cancelled school! Crazy! It rained pretty hard until about 9am and then the sun was out and it was honestly a beautiful day. As of writing this post at around 4:00pm, there is no rain and plenty of sunshine. They say there is still possible severe weather ahead but I can’t say we needed a day off of school for it! That’s ok though, I got plenty of time in with my three best buddies. I made a quick trip to the store first thing in the morning and bought Elmer’s glue and Borax – the two ingredients needed to make SLIME!
It really was so fun and entertained them for a couple of hours. I would totally do it again! They thought it was HILARIOUS when they would make the slime “toot” by pressing the air out. Oh, these giggles are the best sound in the world.
Fun “rainy” day activity for sure!
I promise to get through all the spring break pictures…eventually! I took over 800 so it might take a while! ha! In the meantime, we might just make this a Samantha week. Some pics from a playground adventure two weeks ago….
