Apparently that’s what Valentine’s Day is all about – candy and treats! My kids sure did LOVE it! Their Valentines for their friends this year…

Obviously Maxwell and Spencer made theirs and I think they turned out great. Love Spencer’s “Alabama A”! 🙂 For my memory, I also did Target cards for the teachers.
I was the party mom for all 3 classes so did goody bags with squishies inside! I think they were a big hit all around. Samantha had her party at school on Tuesday and got to go to gymnastics on Valentines Day!

I got to go to Spencer’s class party…

and Maxwell’s too!

Love the Valentines this sweet trio made for us!

Hope you had a great Valentine’s Day! My 3 little piggies sure did!

Happy weekend!

Last year Maxwell did Jump Rope for Heart at school, this year it was Dance for Heart! Michael Jackson style!

Susan and the kids and I went to watch and it was fun. Samantha loved it…

Spence wasn’t quite as impressed! ha!

We all even got to participate in the different dance stations…

A good time was had by all!

Like last year, Maxwell’s art was selected to be displayed up at the library for the month! They do a nice little reception and we all enjoyed getting to celebrate our artist…

He was pretty proud and we were proud of him!

He also entered the school art contest again this year. I’ll be honest, he wasn’t super motivated to do it and, frankly, I didn’t blame him after what happened last year. Still, he’s a great artist so I “encouraged” him to make something to enter.

I thought his two pieces were fantastic – they both took a lot of time and thought and were creative.

Unfortunately, the judge didn’t agree. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. (and you get disqualified for some! ha!)
I’m still proud of my super creative, master drawer Maxwell and will always think he’s a winner despite what any silly judge says!
