We are full swing into the baseball season and loving it! Seems like that sweet little Cardinals team was just yesterday!
Maxwell is on the Orioles and is turning out to have a really strong team. Their first practice game of the year was a disaster so we weren’t sure how the season would go, but that must have been a fluke because they have played great ever since. Of course, turns out Maxwell had the flu that practice game so…that explains some of it! Maxwell is playing first base and doing fantastic. He can stretch out to catch those balls and keep that foot on the base! His hitting is strong and it is really SO fun to watch him and this team play!
They actually lost their first game but it was only by one run in the bottom of the 6th. It was a GREAT game all around despite the loss. Maxwell even got the game ball for an impressive double play!
They’ve won all of their games since! Woohoo!
Spencer is on the Red Sox with his same coach from fall ball and having a great time. They get to play on the big fields this year so he and Maxwell’s games are at the same place which is great. Spencer is a big hitter and an awesome player.
Samantha is the very best baseball sibling…most of the time! ha! She’s thoroughly enjoying the Icees that come with the games and loves being outside.
She’s a trooper…even if she does look like this after a full day at the ballpark!
