Santa Susan
One of our favorite days of the holiday season is when Mrs. Susan comes to visit! She always bring something fun to play with…
and lots and lots of presents!!
It’s always exciting to see what clever gifts she comes up with!
While the presents are nice, we mainly just delight in getting to spend time with her!
We love you Mrs. Susan!!! Thank you for the way you love on us!
Gingerbread Elf
I wasn’t sure ole Gingerbread Elf would come back this year, especially after Samantha found him in my closet last January! oops! But, I guess he decided he wasn’t done with us yet…and he made a new friend in Maxwell who got involved in the elf’s antics this season!
Samantha might know he’s not real but she sure does get excited to see where he is each morning. Everyone needs a little Christmas magic!

This year I decided to just try and take a photo for our Christmas card myself. One Sunday after church when the kids were all dressed I took them out to the porch and snapped some photos with my camera. I think they came out pretty good if I do say so myself!
There were some real winners in there…
It was hard to pick one with some contenders like these…
But ultimately Samantha with her arms around her brothers won me over – with her long, pink, Halloween fingernails and all!
