Maxwell’s art was chosen to be displayed at the bank for the month! His work has been displayed before and it’s always an honor!
His piece is the one on the top row above his head – the black and white one with the reddish background. So cool!
Also, happy Veteran’s Day. The kids are kind of dressed in red, white and blue so that seem appropriate!

Then we didn’t get one from Older Toddlers in 2014 because he wouldn’t sit for the photographer. Yep, his teacher said he just wouldn’t do it. Oh well.

By the time the boys got home from school on Halloween the rain had stopped and the excitement was high! While it wasn’t raining, it was still freezing cold with temps only in the 40s. That didn’t bother my crew too much though. With a few costume adjustments we were ready to go hang with the neighbors by 3:30!

We eventually made our way down to the big neighborhood party, trick or treating along the way. The party was fun and complete with pony rides this year!
These pics of Samantha and her buddy, Jack, made me laugh!
Maxwell chose to go over to another neighborhood to hang with some of his buddies and while I really missed having him with us, I’m glad he was having fun with his friends…and I was able to call him using our new flip phone!
By 7:30 we were trick or treated out, wind burned from the cold wind, and happy to be home! Robert picked up Maxwell and we were all back together to check out the giant candy haul!
Happy Halloween!!
On Tuesday of last week we got all dressed up to go trick or treat up at Robert’s office. The kids loved knowing they had another chance to score lots of candy!
We had Ronald Acuna Jr….earrings, chains, and all!
We had Boba Fett…
and we had She-Ra Princess of Power!!
Apparently She-Ra is back on Netflix. Samantha didn’t know who she was but was totally on board when she found out she got a shield and a talking sword! By the Power of Greyskull!
Robert’s office goes all out with decorations and food and it was a fun night all around. Plus, the kids came home with bags so heavy they could barely carry them. Halloween round 1 success!
We changed up a costume for the main event and I think it scored a perfect 10. See you Monday with the pics! Have a great weekend!
