Maxwell has wanted a bigger bed for a while now and we finally made his wish come true! All 3 got to enjoy the mattress shopping though…

Gone Fishin’
The kids had the day off of school yesterday and we finally made our way out to see Mrs. Susan in her new lake front home! We were so happy to give her a big hug and cast some minnows into the lake to see what we could catch!
Spencer was the big winner of the day with the only fish we caught!
But, we all got to go on a boat ride and spend the day with one of our favorite people. I’d say we were all winners yesterday!!
Can’t wait to try for the “big one” again soon!
Football
Maxwell played tackle football this year and, overall, had a great experience. He was on the Raiders and they had a talented group of boys. He learned a lot and really enjoyed it. His team was undefeated in the first 2/3 of regular season and then didn’t hold it together for the last 2 games and got knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. Oh well, you win some, you lose some!
Maxwell really only got to play on defense. I think he only got in for 2 or 3 offensive plays. I have issues with that since they are only 10 and all need to learn but…I’ll save that opinion for another time!
I’m proud of this kid for playing hard and having a good attitude about it all!
