Maxwell got a fresh fade a few weeks ago. She spiked it up at the end…he wasn’t exactly pleased with that part. Ha!

When did he become a teenager by the way?!

Lookin good Maxwell!

I volunteered at Field Day so got to be out there to see them all compete. Field Day competition is fierce!! They rotate around to different games and rack up points and then do a giant 4-way tug of war. So fun!!
Kindergarten was up first!

Tug of war!!

Love these girls and their sweet teacher!

Then I got to watch second grade…

#1!!

Finally 4th grade!

None of our classes won the big prize but they all had fun and that’s what matters! These kids have been so resilient through the challenges of the last year, it sure was fun to see them get to go all out for an over the top field day! A fantastic way to end a great year IN school!!
One of the best parts of the end of school? Field Day!! These kids all missed out on field day last year so I think everyone decided to make it even bigger and better than ever this year! I hosted Spencer and Samantha’s class in our yard to get decked out and eat some doughnuts. I offered to host Maxwell’s class too but he declined. 🙂 His class got together in front of the school.
My crew was ready to go!!

Samantha’s class was Spartan and lime green. We decided to make them “Summers Spartan Superheroes” and I stenciled shirts for the class.

Don’t they look cute?! and VERY green?!

They might have been green – but Samantha and the girls had to have pink for their hair!

Superheros!

Spencer’s class was the Golden Gators! Love it! I stenciled shirts for his class too and got them a big gator to carry!

Maxwell’s class was camo which actually turned out pretty cool! I got dog tags and wrist bands for them all.

Everyone was decked out and ready for some field day competition!!
Two weeks ago Robert took the kids for the annual night out at the Barons game!

This was Samantha’s first time to get to tag along…

Have you ever seen a cuter baseball fan?!
They picked Spencer up on the way from his own baseball practice and had a good time watching some real baseball…and eating lots and lots of snacks!

Thankfully no one got lost this time! (We’ll never stop repeating this story! ha!)
Older Barons trips: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. No 2020, thanks to Covid.
Well, I basically had the perfect day on Mother’s Day. Truly! I woke up early and did a long Peloton ride in peace. Then I got lots of sweet homemade – and not homemade! – gifts from my crew. We then went for brunch at the club on the most beautiful spring day! The best part – I got a cute pic of me with the kids! Hooray!!

Cute photobomber alert!

We’ll take her!

The kids got to see friends at brunch and everyone was happy to run around outside after eating.

Samantha was clearly enjoying herself! Living the life!

After brunch, I got to play tennis and then I met everyone at the golf course for 9 holes on family fun. And it really was fun!

After that we just stayed for dinner on the patio. Cannot beat a day like that with my very favorite people!

Happy Mother’s Day to me!
