Looking sharp!
Last week Robert took the boys to their annual Barons night out with his office.

They had plenty of fun…and plenty of junk food!

Samantha and I decided to have a girl’s night out and had dinner at Bricktop’s! I think our food was definitely better!

A night on the town for all!
Barons night out: 2015, 2016, 2017 when Spencer got lost, 2018, 2019, no 2020 thanks to Covid, and then 2021!
Fun with buddies!

I even got to see some buddies too! My college friend, Anne, came through town to get a new puppy and stopped in to say hi!

And Lyndsay came over for the night just to hang. Love this picture Samantha took of us! great angle. 🙂

Doing life with friends makes the hard time more bearable and the fun times more…fun!
We woke up bright and early Easter morning and were happy to see that the bunny had brought some treats!

The bunny also hid our eggs in the wrong yard! Oops! Sometimes the bunny outsources and, well, good help is hard to find.

We then got all dressed up and managed to get a few pictures in before it started raining. It was a misty, yuck morning but at least it wasn’t pouring rain…yet!

Samantha wore one of my old dresses like last Easter. This bluebird dress was smocked and sewed by GJ and Susu and it makes me so happy to see her in it! I need to find a picture of me in it!

We went to the new church we’ve been visiting and it was a really nice Easter service.

As soon as we got out of church we hit the road to Montgomery…in the pouring rain! The kids also realized they had forgotten to stick in their iPads so had to try and entertain themselves on the drive with no electronics!! How in the world did they survive?!

Turns out, they survived just fine! They actually talked to each other and had fun together! Imagine that?!
We met Lou Lou, Grandaddy, Jenny, Ronnie, Katie and Anna at the country club for an Easter feast and then some visiting back at the house.

That evening we were lucky to have a break in the rain just long enough to have our neighborhood party and egg hunt! I think we had a record number of kids and plenty of fun! Love this tradition.

It was a wonderful Easter from morning to night despite the weather!
We had half of the weekend with the prettiest weather and half a rainy mess! We made the most of the pretty half! Friday night dinner by the pool while the clubhouse is closed…

It was delightful! Unfortunately Saturday morning was rainy and all sports were cancelled but it cleared up by the afternoon so these three got to play in the Par 3 Tournament!

They didn’t win but they had fun – mostly!
Making the most of the pretty parts of the weekend! Easter pics tomorrow!
