Wishing we had GJ here this Friday like we did last Friday! We sure enjoyed having her here to see all the sports last weekend.

But, we do have the day off of school today so things aren’t that bad! TGIF!

Maxwell finished up his 8 weeks of ballroom last week and survived! While he might never admit it, I think he actually kind of enjoyed it. He definitely looked handsome each week…

and he definitely had fun with all of his buddies! They had a good group on Wednesdays and always had a good time getting dinner in the village beforehand.

Thankful for this good group of boys and opportunities to do things like ballroom!

Such handsome gentlemen!
First night of ballroom here.
We gathered with our neighbors on the corner and were so happy to be with good friends!

The Western Weenies unite!

Maxwell and his buddies then headed over to Colonial Hills to meet up with their crew…

Spencer and John headed off to meet up with Penton and others. Unfortunately, as soon as Spencer took off to trick-or-treat, the fan on his costume went kaput!! Boo! He took it all in stride and trick-or-treated as a 4th grader! John’s blow up costume came off too so they were quite the candy hunting pair, ha!

We made it to the bigger neighborhood party and they even had a roaming photo booth! I do love a photo booth…

and I love it even more when Spence gets in the photo booth and types in my number to send the picture to me!

We finally found Frances so our Movie Star was a happy camper once again. These two did the whole Surrey loop together and got more candy that you can imagine!

We all (except Maxwell) ended back up at the party by dark and hung around for a bit…

but we were home by 7:30 to sort candy! So. Much. Candy.

Maxwell was home by 9:00…

It was a really fun night for all! Happy Halloween!
After a full weekend of football and fun we finally made it to Halloween!! It was a cloudy day but the weather ended up being perfect that night. Not hot, not cold, just right! My crew was ready for it all!!
My fabulously glamorous movie star!!!

She is the star!!

Spencer as the Rocket Man ready to blast off!

Maxwell as the Western Weenie complete with a ketchup and mustard packet holster and gun!

There’s no messing with this hot dog!

Best dressed crew!

I might have gotten in on the fun too…

Happy Halloween!!

See you tomorrow!
After Boo Bash on Friday, I skipped out on some of the clean up and hit the road at 2:30 to make the 3 hour trip to Nashville! I knew it was going to be a good trip when I got this fortune at Boo Bash!

I rolled into town just in time for a quick dinner before heading into Bridgestone Arena with full VIP Access to the The Judds!!!

Well, one Judd. RIP Naomi. We had full backstage access to anything we wanted.

Of course, everything is that much more fun when you get to do it with Lyndsay!!

I sadly didn’t get a pic with Wynonna but I was feet from her and this close to her at the beginning of the show!!

It was a fantastic show – especially when you consider everything she’s been through in the last 6 months. I’ve always loved The Judds and getting to see this show was pretty insane!

I got back to the hotel about 1am and was back up at 5am to get back to Bham in time for some very important playoff football games at 8:45! Don’t worry, I made it in plenty of time. I don’t think they missed me one bit while I was gone…for a whole 12 hours. They were living it up at a football party…

and Robert’s office party!

The fun never stops!
