Happy Memorial day from my red, white, blue, and rainbow crew!

Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...
Happy Memorial day from my red, white, blue, and rainbow crew!

After my fun morning on Mother’s Day we hopped in the car to drive down to Montgomery and celebrate Lou Lou!

We had a nice lunch at the country club and then got to enjoy he afternoon swimming in Lou Lou and Granddaddy’s pool! The best!

Like I said, it was a great Mother’s Day weekend! I love my crew!

See you tomorrow!
My mother’s day treats continued on Saturday when I got to sneak away all Saturday morning to do the Workout for Water competition with Iron Tribe. My partner and I competed in the most challenging division. We came in second to last but, hey, we finished! I was pretty proud of us! If they gave trophies for having fun, we’d have gone home with the biggest!

When I got home that afternoon I had these sweet surprises waiting for me!

The next morning I got breakfast in bed! About 6:15 I heard Maxwell (with the help of Robert) coming into the room with a tray full of cereal, fruit, and granola! What a sweet treat. Maxwell was SO excited about it which made it that much better. Later that morning I had the best second breakfast I could have asked for…

My crew then surprised me with all sorts of wonderful presents! The first was when Baby walked into the room dressed like this…

I just about DIED!! The cuteness!!!! Too, too much. This was a Susan special and she knocked it out of the park!! Samantha in that tiny tank just made. my. day!!

The kids then had the sweetest gifts they had made with Susan…

Robert even got me something very special too! Diamonds! Β π

How in the world did I get so lucky to have all these wonderful people love me?! It’s good to be Momma around here!
Goodness, so much good stuff to catch up on around here! We’ll start with Friday of last week and the Mother’s Day Tea at Maxwell’s school. He was supposed to wear his “Sunday best” which meant I (barely) got him out of Under Armour for the day. He was looking so cute that I decided Baby needed a party dress and I made my three cuties take a picture before school. As always, it went well…

It’s not perfect but this one is actually my favorite…

I went to Maxwell’s class that afternoon and they had everything set up so nicely with punch and petit fours! They sang 3 songs for us and it was precious. They had clearly worked hard and were proud of themselves, as they should be!

I sure do love this kid. He makes me proud every day just for being himself. Being his momma is the best.

He had made all sorts of fun goodies for me and I loved it all!

I do make chicken and rice a lot! ha! π

A great start to Mother’s Day!!
Aren’t we so lucky to have so many wonderful mothers in our lives!
The kids get to have adventures with Susan…

Learn about the finer things in life from Lou Lou…

Get extra loving from SuSu…

And just have the most fun with GJ!

I guess you could say they’re lucky to have me too but I think I’m the lucky one! Β π
I get to hang with this awesome kid…

this sweet boy…

and this pretty princess…

It doesn’t get any better than that! Happy Mother’s Day!
