Taking a break from France to say Happy Independence Day!!

How about some 4th Flashbacks?
Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...
I had a wonderful mother’s day with lots of sweet gift from all my babies! They all made me super gifts from school…

and I even got to go up to Spencer’s class for the Mother’s Day tea! Just like when Maxwell was in Kindergarten, they went all out! They sang about 6 songs and had a full plate of goodies and a rose for every mom! It was the sweetest and I sure do love my blue eyed boy.

I got the best Mother’s Day gift – a new bag for the baseball park! – and the most awesome handprint bowl from Susan and, of course, the fantastic stepping stones for outside! I love them! We even all went out to brunch despite the pouring rain.

Momma is my favorite thing to be!
A very happy belated Mother’s day to all the mommas in our life who continually show up for the important stuff!

Birthday parties, dance recitals, sports games, school concerts…we sure are glad we get to share all of the big things with you!! We love you!
Easter Sunday turned out to be the most beautiful day! Our kids were up early to see what goodies the bunny brought…

and then out to find the eggs!

We then got all ready for church and, despite Samantha burning her hand on my curling iron, were ready in time for me to snap lots and lots and lots of pictures!

We even got to church early enough to take more pictures! The kids were thrilled. 🙂

But I got this picture so it was worth it! To me at least!

This was our first time to stay in Birmingham for Easter in several years and it was really nice to go to the service in our own church. We then met up with Robert’s parents and sister and went out to lunch at Daniel George. It turned out to be fantastic. The kids were all so well behaved. They ate the food. Everyone was happy! Hooray!

We then got home and gave the boys one more Easter present – a rebound net! Maxwell LOVES it!

It was a beautiful Easter day!
Like the past few years, our awesome neighborhood got together for a fun Easter party and egg hunt. Despite the cold rain on Saturday morning, it ended up being a beautiful afternoon. Perfect for ALL 26 of these kiddos to play outside, bounce in the bounce house, and hunt lots and lots of eggs!

Also, when Samantha ran out to find eggs she wasn’t messing around and managed to immediately take Hayes down in the process. Hahaha!

We are so thankful for our great hood – and really nice dads that will put on a bunny suit! ha! (note – Robert politely declined to be the bunny this year! Maybe next year!)

Love our neighborhood!
