At 4:00 we had the driveway all set up and ready for the neighborhood to kick things off!

We had all our neighborhood friends plus a few extra!

Maxwell’s friends Frank and Jack joined as well…

because they then ditched us all to head to another neighborhood with al lot of the 4th grade boys. Growing up too fast!!

We all headed out to trick-or-treat around 5:00 which was so nice because we were able to hit up almost our entire big loop before it got dark!

We loved seeing friends while out and about!

We were back home by 6:45 for candy sorting and chili! Can’t beat that!!

Can you believe all this candy and only one tiny Butterfinger?! A travesty.

Overall it was a fantastic Halloween…maybe even the best yet! The perfect weather didn’t hurt either. Cheers to a fun night!!
After a full day of fun for all the kids, it was finally time for Halloween night! The big neighborhood party this was cancelled this year so we invited just our neighbors over before trick-or-treating. We had some food for the kids so it was a good way for everyone to meet up and head out together. My crew was looking ready for the best Halloween ever!

The spookiest glow in the dark skeleton…

The coolest hippie…

and the cutest light up purple fairy!!

I mean…so good!

I even threw together a little cheetah costume myself!

One more for today just because they’re so cute!

More of our fun Halloween tomorrow!
HallowEEK at school culminated with the kids getting to wear their costumes on Friday. My hippie, skeleton, and purple fairy were excited for a fun day!

Samantha also got to wear her costume to dance on Thursday. My pretty purple fairy!

On the morning of Halloween we were up and at em for an 8:15am Sparkle Unicorn Blueberry soccer game and then both Samantha and Spencer got to go to Halloween parties that day.

Samantha also had a birthday party that afternoon – all before trick or treating! A busy and super fun weekend!
Like last year, we had some friends over to carve Jack O’Lanterns and had so much fun! Each kid was so creative with their design. Maxwell and Spencer really did theirs almost all on their own! I helped Samantha…a lot. But they all turned out great!

Love this crew of kids!

Our porch is looking very festive now! Also note that I had to replace pretty much all of the pumpkins since this post…they couldn’t stand the warm temps and rotted. Yuck! Hopefully these will last through Halloween!

We are Halloween ready!
