Let the Christmas season begin!!
Just a few more Halloween things….
Spencer got to go on a hayride trick-or-treat adventure with Henry the weekend before Halloween. Jersey costume again!
The kids also had dress up days this week. Tuesday was orange and black…
Wednesday was PJ day! The girls were pumped to wear their new matching onesies!
Thursday was jersey day…right up Spencer’s alley but I didn’t even get a picture of him!
Friday was House Colors day – and the day Samantha turned in her awesome candy pictograph! Well done!
Also, thanks for the Halloween treat GJ! This is way better than candy!
It was a fun, fun week last week!
A cold front moved in the day before Halloween and our 70 degree temps turned to 50 degree temps! I was a little worried we’d all freeze by nightfall but it ended up being the best night ever. Chilly, but the best! Two bummers though – Robert was out of town and, for the first year ever, I didn’t get a porch pick of all 3 kids…made this momma a little sad. Spencer went to the parade in Crestline right after school with Henry, but, the two I had on the porch sure looked cute!
Samantha was in full T Swift Eras form – Karma jacket and all! Also thankful for shiny tights in the cold wind!
Also, I can’t hardly take how pretty her face looks with all this makeup….my pretty, pretty girl.
We headed over to the new – and I’d say improved – neighborhood Halloween party around 5:00. We grabbed Spencer and Henry along the way and they had a whole group of buddies to hang with all night.
After a few stressful minutes, we finally found Frances and Kate and Samantha was a giggly, shimmery, dancing trick-or-treater all night! I think the most fun part of the night was watching these girls laugh and run around from house to house!
Maxwell and a big group of 7th graders met up at Ford’s house and hung there for a while before trick-or-treating in the neighborhood, hitting up the food truck, and then heading over to Colonial Hills.
They also had a photographer walking around the party and we got all these great pics!
We were home by 8:00 (Maxwell at 9:00) and candy was sorted…
It was a super fun night but my very favorite part? Somehow all 3 kids magically ended up in the same area for a quick second and I got my picture! Hooray and happy momma!
Happy Halloween!
There were some pretty good decorated pumpkins at Boo Bash but these were my favorite…
They even had a push light inside the lamp so you could turn it on! Loved the baby in the stroller too. This one lacked some execution but the idea made me laugh…
and this pair? Stole the show!
Samantha submitted her pink bunny pumpkin! Not a winner but a good pumpkin!
We did manage to carve some pumpkins at home too…
Spencer opted out but that was fine. He was worn out from football that day. Our porch looked Spook-tacular!!
More Halloween to come!
Spencer and Samantha had the best time at Boo Bash at school on Monday! I loved getting to see them having fun with their friends!
Three Taylors!
They started off strong on the slide…
but the ending was a little rough! ha!
Spencer’s turn!
The boys opted for 3 at once down the slide!
The most fun day at school!
