We’re a little late to the game but we finally read the first Harry Potter book!

Are you ready for some football?! We are! We’ve been watching some top notch football around here the past few weeks. Maxwell is playing tackle football this year and it’s been so fun – for him to play and for us to watch! 4th grade tackle football is interesting because there is quite a disparity in size of the kids! Case in point…

That’s Maxwell in the black jersey in the middle! ha! Now, that photo is slightly distorted because of distance but, they do have one really really tall kid on their team!

The Raiders are now 3-o so they’ve had a great time winning. Maxwell has been playing lots and lots of defense and not as much offense as he’d like. But, he hustles at practice and does what he needs to do at games and he’ll earn his spot. He had some really strong tackles in last Sunday’s game! He might be small but he’s tough!

I have, not surprisingly, got into it and love watching the games. I just love to watch anything my kids play! If they love, I love it!

For the record, the team had those buttons made and they are a fundraiser for the high school cheerleaders. How could I not get one?!
I’m so proud of number 29 and love to watch him play!

Go Raiders!
After Maxwell’s original birthday bunkin’ party got messed up due to his headache, we rescheduled for last weekend and I think it worked out even better! He and Max (and Spencer too!) played all the Fortnite they could play, ate pizza, and slept up in the playroom. This is the only picture I got but it seems appropriate! ha!

I did go get Shipley’s donuts for them in the morning. They are a bunkin party staple in my opinion!

Lots of fun for my 10 year old!
On Sunday Robert took the boys for a little hunting adventure. They had the gear…

and had a fun day shooting some doves!

Maxwell even got his first bird!

As cool as that is, I’m pretty sure they had the most fun driving around in The Beast and drinking root beer!!

Love my Alabama boys!
Not only did Samantha start kindergarten on Thursday of last week, but she also went to her first dance class at a new place! She is so excited about dance this year because she is with some of her best buddies, Violet and Julia, and she gets to do ballet…

jazz…

and tap!! woohoo! I’m really excited for her to do tap!

She’s also taking hip hop which they do in tennis shoes. I asked her how they dance in hip hop and she said you “shake your booty!” Ha!
When you have that many dance shoes, you need a cute bag to carry them all in. We’ve got that!

She also has to have a yoga mat. Can you tell what her favorite color is?! 💜

Looking forward to a fun year for my tiny dancer!
