Scenes from a jumperoo…
Guess who I found on his belly in his crib yesterday morning?! Someone can flip from back to front!!
Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...
This one’s shaping up to be a heartbreaker!

You gotta love this pose…
All he needs is a bear skin rug! 🙂
In other news, Maxwell went to the playground for the first time yesterday and swung with the big kids! Susan said he had a great time swinging and loved watching all the other kids go down the slide! We’ll definitely be heading to the Tot Lot with the camera soon!
Last week we decided to put together a new toy for Maxwell – the Jumperoo! Robert dumped out all the parts and got to work…
“Let’s see what we’ve got here….this piece probably goes here”
“No wait….this piece goes over here.”
“hmmm…maybe it would be a good idea to read the instructions first!”
We got it all put together and it was a hit! Maxwell hanging out in the jumperoo…
and checking out all the fun things to play with.
The only problem? He’s not quite tall enough to actually jump in his jumperoo! Those feet are still far off the ground. Nothing a little pillow won’t solve…
It doesn’t seem to bother Maxwell though! He loves his new jumperoo!
Nate update! After a week in the NICU, Nate is breathing great on his own and gets to go home today!! Hooray! Here’s a picture from yesterday with no tubes!
Or maybe I should say Ice Day! We got lots of sleet and freezing rain here yesterday with just a little bit of snow mixed in. Pretty much everything in town was closed and Robert, Maxwell and I got to have a snow day at home together! Thanks to computers and telecommuting, Robert and I still had to work during nap time though!
The view outside…
All bundled up with Dad!
“Look at the camera, Maxwell!”
“Say hi to mom!”
Icicles!
Today is a sad, sad day. Today I go back to work. Thankfully I am able to work from home. Thankfully we found a great nanny. Still, the fact that I’m going to miss seeing every single one of these smiles….
makes me this sad….
no, it actually makes me THIS sad.
Boo hoo is right. Wish me luck…this is going to be tough.
