He sorta gets it…but really just chews on the cup mostly.

Movin’ on down!
About two weeks ago, I walked into Spencer’s room to get him up and saw this…
(He wasn’t very happy with me taking time to snap a picture!)
His head over the rail only meant one thing – time to move down that crib! This crib has 3 levels so we first just took it down 1 level…
but realized he could still reach the top just on his knees and so then decided we better just go all the way down! Of course Maxwell had to get in there to play too.
Silly boys.
Also see how the bumpers are slumped down in the middle? That’s from my little snuggler hugging on to them every night! 🙂

Cooling off
Back to reality today. Post vacation is never fun but we had a GREAT time in Naples last week. The weather cooperated and we had sunny mornings with some afternoon showers each day – perfect for beach and golf! Pics later this week. Also, Spencer officially became a speed racer crawler in Naples! You put him down and he is off and crawling across the room! We gotta keep our eyes on him all the time now!
From what I heard, it rained in Birmingham the entire time we were gone. I wasn’t sad to miss that! I think we’re back to sunshine and summer this week and I have a feeling we might be doing this again…
No better way to cool off on a hot day than with the hose in the backyard!

Happy Monday! Guess who’s (sort of) crawling?!
this guy!! He’s not too fast yet, but he’s gotten in 2 or 3 army crawls this weekend. Yay buddy!

Week in review
As much fun as we had in Florida last week, we have sure enjoyed being home this week!

Played with Dad…
Watched the boob tube (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Doc McStuffins and Jake and the Neverland Pirates are current tv faves)…
Beat the heat with some friends at Steel City Pops…
and with some water balloons in the back yard!

This little guy has been pretty cheery this week despite a SECOND TOOTH breaking through!
Overall, we’ve just been happy to be home – very happy!! 🙂
