Day 2 went just as good as day 1!

We even got sister in the picture yesterday morning!

No, I did not tell her to pose! She did that all on her own! ha! She’s a mess and I’m so glad she’s MY mess!
Happy for a good start to school!

They both rocked it! What a great first day!
Not surprisingly, I had to wake Spencey up but they were all downstairs and ready in plenty of time…

and then it was off to school!

Kindergarten ready!

and Second Grade ready!

Spencer just wanted to walk over with Maxwell so I didn’t go to the flagpole with them…and I so wish I had. π

Thankfully, big brother took care of him and got him into the classroom. Phew. When I picked Spencer up at 2:00 he was all smiles!! Hooray!!

I think he had a GREAT day and even got a smiley in his notebook!

Maxwell was home an hour later and, from what I got out of him, had a fantastic day too. I think he was just so happy to be back with all of his friends all day. He and Spencer even both bought lunch – pizza!

Now we get to get up and do it all again tomorrow! Ready for a fun year!
What’s in your mouth Maxwell?

Or rather, what’s NOT in your mouth?!

No front teeth for this kid!!!

Cheeeeese!
Maxwell has a new smile this summer…

a snaggletooth smile! That front tooth was loose for a while and then Spencer helped it along a little when he whacked Maxwell in the mouth with a pair of goggles. Robert tried to pull it twice but ultimately Maxwell was the one that yanked it out!

His other front tooth is loose too and might be out before school starts! Love that toothless smile!

Once swim lessons were over, Susan took the Bobbsey twins to the pool…

and Spencer passed the swim test and got his green band! Woohoo! He had to swim almost the entire length of the pool without stopping and then he had to tread water.

Go Spencey go!
