Driver

Well, a permitted driver at least. He passed the test easily. Hooray!

He then drove me home from Taziki’s just like a pro! Go Maxwell go!

As a reminder to myself: We had to make the appointment about a month in advance and ended up going out to Pelham for the test. We had to take his birth certificate, SS card, proof of school enrollment (which we got from the JH), two utility bills with our address on them for the Star ID. Maxwell downloaded an app and did a few practice tests before we went. Success!

First Day

Back to school! Maxwell had early morning practice his first day of 9th grade so here’s a sleep image from 5:15am…

Spencer had a fantastic start to 7th grade at the JH and then had afternoon football practice…

School and activities are in full swing! It’s going to be a great year in 5th, 7th, and 9th!!

Ballroom

Wednesday night was Spencer’s first ballroom. Ballroom is a true rite of passage around here. Spencer sure looked sharp!!

Here’s a pic of all the girls in his group – I don’t know many of them but it’s fun to see.

He’s in the late group so pickup isn’t until 9:15! We were all there waiting to see him walk out though and didn’t he look so nice?!

We ended up all being there post cheer game and post football game so I got a pick of all 3! Hooray!

Spencer said it “really wasn’t even that bad actually”…I’m going to take that as a win! Proud of my handsome 6th grader!
