As I mentioned in this post, Samantha’s dance recital was cancelled but luckily they had taken photos before the quarantine hit. We got them back last week and she’s precious, of course!
Love my little dancer!!
Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...
As I mentioned in this post, Samantha’s dance recital was cancelled but luckily they had taken photos before the quarantine hit. We got them back last week and she’s precious, of course!
Love my little dancer!!
Samantha’s dance recital was supposed to be last weekend. She had gotten her costume a few months ago…
and had the official pics taken back in early March (will share them when I get them)…
So we decided to just have our own recital at home! She put on her costume, dabbed on some lipgloss, and put on a show!
This girl deserves a stage! She was definitely the star of the show!! I love my little dancer!!
Samantha’s dance recital was on Sunday and I think she was the star of the show! She was all decked out with curls in her pigtails, blush on her cheeks, and lipstick on her lips!
Based on her awesome pre-show posing, I’d say she was pretty excited!
We were all ready to head out to the recital! Well, everyone except for Maxwell who had to go to baseball. Spencer got to come though and, let me tell ya, he was excited! π
The recital was nice and it was cute to see all the little girls up on the big stage. Samantha did a wonderful job during her performance and even ended up front and center during the big finale!!
We were so happy that Lulu and Granddaddy, Susan and GJ could all be there to watch our dancer!
By the time it was all over, my dancer was worn out and feeling like this…
She fell asleep in the car on the way home and then took a long nap on the couch! She worked hard and deserved the rest! I’m so proud of my pretty and talented dancer!!
My sunshine and my star!
Samantha’s dance recital was last weekend it was just a sweet as could be! I just still can’t believe this adorable girl is mine and we get to do fun things like dance recitals!! She wore her costume a few weeks ago for picture day up at dance class. She was pretty proud to have it on, even if it was itchy!!
Her cute pics!
Also, look who ended up on the front of the brochure this year! π
Samantha had rehearsal on Saturday so we were all dressed up again for her first turn on the big stage at Alabama Theater. Last year her class did their recital at the dance studio so this was a much bigger deal this year!
She did great and was ready for the big show on Sunday!
Samantha’s recital was at last a week ago Friday and she was just as excited as could be! Susan and GJ went on up to save seats while I got her all ready in her costume, a bit of hairspray, and a little blush and lipgloss too! I think she was most excited about the hairspray and blush! Β π
Taking a bow!
Showing off her makeup to GJ…
We took a few pictures on the stage before the show and she was the eating up all the attention!
She did not like it when her brothers were trying to steal her spotlight! ha!
It was so fun to be dressed up with our dance buddies!
The performance was adorable. The other class was the rain and Samantha’s class was the sun. After they danced separately they then did a little bit together as a rainbow! too cute!
Samantha’s wasn’t nervous on the stage at all and did great following directions and lining up where she was supposed to be! She was adorable!!
I’m not sure who loved it all more – me or her!
We were all so proud of our sunshine!!
Can’t wait for the big stage next year!
