Happy Birthday to Susu! Maxwell’s great-grandmother is just about the best there is!
Susu, we are so glad we got to visit you just last month and hope we get to see you again soon! We love you!
Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...
It’s my birthday too!
Happy Birthday to me! The big 33. I think you should get to celebrate extra big on your dual number birthdays so I plan to do just that. What am I going to do? Hang out with this little guy, of course…
I sure am a lucky girl to get to spend my birthday with him and Robert!
And if I’m really lucky maybe I’ll get a piece of cake! (leftover from Robert’s birthday, of course!) 🙂
Hope you all have a great weekend! I know I will!
First, I am happy to report that Maxwell is feeling much, much better. I think we’ve turned the corner and have our happy little guy back! thank goodness!
Second, we had a rip-roaring, throw-down of a party for Robert’s birthday on Tuesday. Not really. We did have balloons, tacos and cake though! What more could a 35 year old ask for?
I still had some helium leftover from Maxwell’s birthday so I decided to make things a little festive for Robert. When Maxwell saw the balloons I blew up for Dad, he had to have one himself…
Balloons and babies are just fun together!
I don’t think Robert really cared about his balloons, but he did like his cake!
I hope he thought it was a good birthday. And I also hope whatever he wished for comes true!
Considering he scored some box seats for the AL game this weekend, I think his wish might have worked! 🙂
Today is a very special day. It’s Robert’s birthday!!! Happy, happy birthday to the best husband and dad we could ask for.
Hey Maxwell, should we take some special pictures for Dad’s birthday?
Sure momma! I’ll give him a good smile…
Wait a second, I know what will be even better. Let me get festive…
That’s better. Is it straight on my head? Gotta look good for Dad’s birthday pictures!
Yes, Maxwell. It’s straight and looks great! Now, should we sing Happy Birthday to Dad?
Oh yes! You sing and I’ll clap along…
Happy Birthday to you!
Oh goodness Momma. You’re not a very good singer, are you?!
Happy Birthday to you!
Oh my…you might need to stop singing Momma.
Happy Birthday dear Daaaaad!
I mean it Momma. Stop singing right now or I’m gonna karate chop you.
Happy Birthday to you!
Phew, I’m glad that’s over. Now I’m gonna give Dad one more big Happy Birthday smile!
Happy Birthday Dad! I sure do love you and am so glad I look just like you!
I love you too, Robert…and am so glad that we have a mini-you. Here’s to the best birthday ever!!
On Wednesday I showed you this shot of my mom and I on the Rio Grande Trail…
It should look familiar to you because I had shown you this shot about a year ago…
I think they’re in almost the exact same spot! I’m thinking I need to go back to Aspen every September from now on to take another picture…watcha think Robert?! 🙂
I almost came home with these boots for Maxwell…
but then I remembered that we live in Birmingham, not Aspen, and I decided against it. They sure were cute though!
I also thought this was such a cute leather jacket…
until I realized it is for kids. Yep, this is a children’s boutique and I don’t even want to know how much the jacket cost. Over the top! They also had this cute little cocktail dress…
and this fabulous frock…
Perfect for those kindergarten charity balls, don’t you think?
Gotta love it!
Hope you all have a great weekend. We’re ready for it as it’s been a rough 24 hours around here. Maxwell picked up some sort of bug at school – he’s been fever-y and was even pukey on Wednesday night. Lovely. Hopefully he’ll be feeling much better and we’ll get to do some fun things, like mowing the hard wood floors…
and cheering the Tide on to a victory over the Gators!
See you Monday!
