Happy birthday to me! What more could I want at 47 than this crew right here…
I’m the luckiest!
Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...
We celebrated Robert on Saturday with a big Bama win over Vandy! I’m proud of my Vanderbilt degree but in football I say Roll Tide Roll! Maxwell snagged an invite to the game…
while the rest of us watched it at home and then we all headed to Hot & Hot for a fantastic birthday dinner!
We took this picture for Lyndsay…
but everyone’s true thoughts are this! ha!
We then went home for cake and presents!
It was a great birthday celebration of my favorite person!
Happy birthday Robert!
We celebrated our new fifteen year old in Naples! Even though we weren’t at home we had to do his morning cinnamon roll tradition!
He then had several presents to open…
He then spent the rest of the day at the beach, watching football, and convincing us to let him drive around the neighborhood over and over! He’s off to a great start as a good driver!
We were really hoping for an AL birthday win for Maxwell but the Tide really failed us on that one. Oh well, Roll Tide anyways! and Happy birthday Maxwell!
We love you!
Maxwell turns FIFTEEN tomorrow and I don’t know how we got here so fast. Seems just like yesterday he was my precocious toddler teaching me about diggers and making very realistic firetruck siren noises! Now he’s a handsome teenager that impresses me and makes me proud every day.

Maxwell is just the best, there is no other way to describe him. He’s considerate, respectful, responsible and smart. He has natural leadership skills and is always putting those to use at school, scouts and sports. He’s helpful and I can always count on him to do what is right and make the best decision he can. He’s always using his best judgment and I know that would make Daddo proud! As I said last year, he just figures things out and figures them out well.

Maxwell is the ultimate first born. Yes, he can be very particular and ornery at times and argue until he’s blue in the face to get his way, but I do believe all of that will serve him well in life. He’s also incredibly kind and aware of others and I am so thankful Spencer and Samantha have him to lead the way.
Maxwell has a fantastic group of best friends. They are all pretty like-minded and seem to be making good decisions so far. Let’s hope they all continue to influence each other positively! I do think Maxwell is well liked by all and can easily move between different groups.
He’s hard working, studious, and determined. I love to cheer this kid on in every thing he does. He makes me so incredibly proud and I could not love him more.
Happy fifteen Maxwell! We love you.
Now let’s go hit the road!
