We had a great day celebrating…

Love this SEVEN year old! Have a great weekend!
My sweet baby girl is SEVEN!! She’s so grown up but still so little and I love every single second with this ray of sunshine! Celebrating her is my very favorite thing to do!
From this precious baby girl (born on her due date at 1:04pm)…

To this happy one year old….

To this perfectly perfect two year old….

To this lively three year old…

To this sweet and sassy four year old!

To this sunshiney five year old…

To this bright light of a six year old….

to this amazing SEVEN year old!!

She bring me such joy. I find myself just staring at her all the time in disbelief at how truly perfect she is. She is full of smiles and sunshine. Her happy personality makes us all happy!

Samantha loves to watch YouTube on her iPad. She loves to take my phone and change her hair color and make funny faces on the FaceApp. She loves to add songs to her “Dance it Out” playlist on Spotify. She loves to wear her hair down and rocks a headband pretty much every day. She has strong opinions about her wardrobe but will always be happy if the outfit has purple or leopard print! She’s over the top in so many ways and I love it! She adores putting on makeup, playing hair salon, painting her nails, and dressing up in her high heels! She’s a girly girl all around!

Samantha holds her own with her brothers and doesn’t let anyone boss her around. They fight plenty but also laugh with each other harder than with anyone else. She plays favorites depending on the day! She will shine her light on Robert now and then but she is a Momma’s girl through and through! She loves me every bit as much as I love her! She says my name 500 times a day and I would not have it any other way.

Samantha is an athlete. She’s a soccer star and I think that sport might be her favorite. She’s still tumbling and dancing and now learning to play basketball. Whatever sport is up next, she’s game! She brings the hustle to whatever she’s playing.

First grade has been good for her but will not go down as her favorite year. She doesn’t have her best friends in her class but has made the best of it. The work is a little more difficult than Kindergarten and she doesn’t like that at all. I think she misses her Kindergarten friends and teacher but she’s still thriving and learning and growing. She heads out the door with a smile on her face – most days! 🙂

My little girl with the big smile and the big personality! She’s a true joy but also full of opinions and very strong willed. How did I get so lucky to get her?!

How is this little girl about to turn seven?!

Oh time, please slow down.
Happy Birthday Daddo!!

We love you very much and hope you have the best day! We’ll see you soon!!
Spencer started his birthday with his choice of breakfast – doughnuts! Can’t beat it!!

Then off to school with NO MASK! First day in two years! School went masks optional and these kids were happy to be free of them. Fingers crossed it all works!

Robert then took him Firehouse Subs up to school for lunch – too bad Spencer didn’t get it from the office in time to eat it for lunch! oh well. After his basketball practice we made brownies…

and then waited and waited for dinner time and presents! He picked Chick Fil A and we finally got to eat once Maxwell got home from football. I’d say the presents were worth the wait!! He’s been asking for an Xbox and I had told him “no way!” I said no mainly because they are impossible to find. I did manage to find a Series S at the Target in Tuscaloosa a few weeks ago and made the drive one day to pick it up. Then last week I went up to Best Buy to get an extra controller and some games for it. When I was checking out I started chatting with the girl ringing me up – she was a big gamer – and I was saying how hard it was to find the consoles and that the Series X was just impossible to find. She then said “do you want a Series X?!” Turns out a lady had returned one that morning and they had it in the back!! Woohoo! It was definitely my – and Spencer’s! – lucky day!
He had no idea what he was getting and he was a pretty happy kid when he realized what was in that package!

Make a wish!!

We love you Spencey!

Cheers to 9!
