I posted earlier about Spencer’s OTM basketball team but didn’t have a great team picture. Well, they had their team party on Saturday and look what I got…

MBE had their Grandfriends event last week and we were so happy that both GJ and Lulu and Granddaddy could come! Despite the rainy weather, it was a fun morning and I know the kids loved getting to show off their classrooms. I think the grandparents loved seeing everyone…and hearing the same book in all 3 classrooms! ha!

We are so lucky to have such wonderful grandparents that love to come visit!! GJ was even nice enough to help me get people registered! She’s always been good at that sort of thing.

These cuties got to present their poster at the 2nd grade table…

A fun morning at MBE! Thanks for coming GJ and Lulu and Granddaddy!
Guess what we’ve got?

Clean teeth and no cavities! Gonna be a great weekend!
To celebrate the end of the season, Spencer’s rec team all went to a Birmingham Squadron game! These pics make it pretty clear how much fun they had!

They even snuck into some courtside seats until someone told them to move. ha! But then they made it on the jumbotron so a win all around!

They even got to meet some of the players after the game and get their autograph.

A fun night for these ballers!

Go Ducks!
Spencer played OTM basketball again on the Mountain Brook Magic. Games started back in December at the Jingle Bell Jam and continued through last week with the OTM tournament. That combined with twice a week practice plus rec ball means Spencer has played a lot of basketball. He wouldn’t have it any other way!

This team really came together this season. We picked up a new point guard and everyone seemed to find their rhythm most games. We ended the season 6-2. We lost miserable to the MB “Black” team and then lost another game to a good Homewood team. These boys had high hopes of making it to the championship game to rematch the Black team but they lost in a heartbreaker against a Hoover team in the semifinals.

Larkin, Joe, Wyatt, Wyatt, Spencer, Graham, Ford, and Hunter with Coach T!
I’m so so proud of this team and how hard they worked. Spencer always played hard and that is all we can ask!

Go Magic!! Go #7!!
