On Sunday, after a trip home from NY and a soccer game for Maxwell, it was time to celebrate Spencer’s 3rd birthday! My parents and Susu were in town so we all headed to, where else? The orange mexaurant! Maxwell said we should call it the green mexaurant that night for the birthday boy! 🙂 We then went home for ba-nilla cake and presents. This little one was loving the attention…

and got a little help blowing out those candles!

Happy birthday Spencer!

My baby boy turned THREE yesterday! Now, if you ask him, he’ll say he’s 8 but he hasn’t grown quite that fast! 😉 Spencer is a belly-laughing, joyful, stubborn, snuggly, light of my life. He’s at the height of cuteness right now and just about everything he says and does makes us smile.

and now THREE!!

Oh, he looks so grown up! As he likes to tell me “I not a baby. I a big boy!” Of course, sometimes he also says “I not a big boy. I a lion.”  🙂

This boy loves to love – he’ll take my face in his hands and plant a big kiss right on my lips! I love to get him up in the morning – when I pick him up from his crib he wraps his arms and legs around me in the biggest hug and, let me tell you, there’s no better way to start the day. He loves to be tickled and we always oblige because hearing his belly laugh is the BEST. He loves all kinds of trucks, trains, lions, dinosaurs and, most importantly, he loves Maxwell. or “Max-cell” as he says! They are two peas in a pod and he’ll do whatever Maxwell tells him to do…most of the time! His second favorite is Baby Mantha. He loves to get in her face and say “hi baby! hey baby!” Some other cute expressions he uses all the time are “easy does it!”, “that’s silly business!”, and “dat’s not nice!”. He’s mostly shaking his finger at Maxwell while saying that last one! ha! Spencer is just a funny little boy and, man of man, I love him so.
