Spencer got to have his birthday party on his actual birthday! Doesn’t get better than that! He had a few friends out to Urban Air and it was Jurassic World themed, of course!

Everyone was excited – especially Spencer!

We had the whole crew there including GJ, Lulu, Granddaddy, and baby Margaret!

Betcha can’t even tell these cupcakes flipped over in the car on the way there! Uh oh!

It didn’t bother the kids one bit! We had the whole place to ourselves which was awesome.

I hope Spencey felt super loved and celebrated by all these sweet friends!

Something tells me he had a GREAT time! ha!

A Dino-riffic celebration for a fantastic kid!!

Spencer is SIX!!!! This lovable, blonde boy with a twinkle in his bright blue eyes is six!

Newborn…

One year old…

Two years old…

Three years old…

Four years old…

Five years old…

and now SIX!!!

Oh how I love this kid. As I said last year, he’s a happy kid who plays hard, tries hard, and loves hard. He’s growing up so fast and turning into his own little person. He still tries to be just like Maxwell (often to Maxwell’s chagrin) but also relishes his role as big brother to Samantha. Sure, he can give her a good brotherly knockout now and then but, more often, he’s the sweetest to her trying to help her do something, keep her safe, and play games together. He and Maxwell are the best of friends and then mortal enemies that will try to fight to the death. Ha! Seriously, they fight plenty but also stick up for each other, play well together, and enjoy each other.

We just had Spencer’s teacher conference this week and he got a glowing report. His right on track with his reading, doing great in math, and she said his handwriting and artistic abilities are very impressive! He’s a smart kid and he loves learning. He’s very motivated right now to do well ins school, read at home before bed, and see what all he can do.

He’s majorly into Jurassic World and dinosaurs right now. Both boys still love Alvin and the Chipmunks and this show called Big City Greens. Nerf guns are are still tops along with anything “remote controlled” He’s probably happiest with some kind of ball in his hand – well, that or the iPad! ha! This kid LOVES his tv and iPad. I think his favorite game right now is War Robots and he’s just waiting for the day that he can get Fortnite like Maxwell. He killed it at baseball this fall and is loving flag football.

The other thing about him? He loves to sleep…and sleep some more! We have to wake him up for school just about every day. He also loves to dance and be silly! Flossing every day!

He might be six but his little speech impediment keeps him sounding like my baby just a bit. He’s gotten better with his L sounds but that Th sound is tricky. One, two, free, four! 🙂  Also, in case you were wondering, he still has the greatest laugh around!
