We are all missing Maxwell a lot and are counting down to the days until we get him…but it sure has been fun to get some quality time in with the Bobbsey Twins!!

I sure do love my blonde hair, blue eyed babies. It’s going to be a great week!

Even fun at “school”!

They are living the life!
On Sunday morning we were walking out of the hotel by 7:15am to get to camp!! After a stop at the McDonald’s drive through we were 16th in the car line for camp!

We quickly moved up the hill, the trunk caddies took our trunk out of the car, and then we got the rest of the stuff to Cabin 4!!

It was a bluebird day in Tuxedo, NC!

Samantha made a friend in Lulu the camp dog! Who woulda thought?!

After a quick visit to talk to the nurse at the infirmary and a trip to the camp store to buy a t-shirt and a Crazy Creek chair, it was time for us to go.

There were lots of hugs but no tears (I won’t mention the huge lump in my throat all day long.)

I tried to get a cute pic of my 3 but then Spencer bumped his head trying to get to the picture and this is all I got! oh well…seems fitting! Please notice Samantha’s hand on Lulu the dog!

Jack and Maxwell were then off to play games and have fun and we headed back to the car to head home…with a lump in my throat.

Counting down the days to pickup!!
Spencer is officially tonsil and adenoid free and doing great!! He made it through the surgery with no issues. They even pulled his loose tooth!

Over the next week we just kept him on a steady rotation of Tylenol and Motrin with the Oxycodone mixed in when needed. He really had a very easy recovery. I’m sure ALL of the ice cream he ate helped too!!

He hit another rough patch around day 6, just as expected, but overall did great. He’s now 2 weeks out from the surgery and back to normal! Hooray! Glad to have that behind us.
For our final few days in Naples we went back to the beach…

We swam and swam and swam in the pool!

Of course, we had to celebrate the 4th with some fireworks!!

Overall it really was a great week with my sweet family.

Sadly, we had to go home to go back to work. Thankfully we had smooth flights home.

We love Naples and can’t wait to go back!
