Girl’s weekend v. Boy’s weekend

Last weekend the boys took off on an adventure and Samantha and I stayed home for some girl fun! What did the girls do? We got our nails done, got ice cream, and snuggled in bed together watching The Princess Diaries.

It does not get better than that!! Well…the boys think it gets a lot better than that and they had the time of their lives at the lake with some friends. What did they do? Went tubing, jumped off of Chimney Rock (!), swung on a rope swing into the lake, made smores, shot fireworks, and shot a lot of guns!

This is Chimney Rock – they all climbed to that mid point and jumped off several times!

Boys will be boys…and girls will be girls! I’m just glad everyone got to have the most fun weekend!

Took these 3 to the dentist and got a good report on their teeth! It was also good practice wearing our masks…

Golf and swim

Another busy week in the books! The boys did a golf camp Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. There was also a swim meet that Maxwell and Samantha swam in. Spencer had to miss the meet because of golf. Samantha still did swim team practice every day.

Swim team is in full force! Last weekend we went to the Guppy Meet where Spencer and Samantha swam and Maxwell’s age group helped run the meet. The kids did great and everyone got a ribbon for finishing each race! Can’t beat that!
