Christmas Eve

It was a sunny and warm Christmas Eve here! I started the day at my favorite place – the tennis court!

Then it was home to get the tables all set and prep some food – which I didn’t have to do too much of thanks to GJ!

We then got all cleaned up for the 1:00 brunch at the club…

It was a beautiful day at the club!

After brunch we went to the 5:00 church service. Robert, Maxwell and GJ headed up there early to save our row! They got there about 3:45 when the 3:00 service got out and that was good because it was almost filled up by 4:00! After church we headed over to the Moore’s for some good cheer with friends…

When we got back home the kids got to open the presents from each other…

We then even left some cookies for Santa!

I sure do love Christmas with this trio…

Predators

January 2, 2026

Spencer and I had the most fun pre-Christmas mini trip! We drove to Nashville with his BFF Henry and his mom to go see a Predators game and stay the night! It was the trip that almost didn’t happen – we had been planning it for so long and were super excited…and then Spencer got the flu. Nooooo. Thankfully we got some Xofluza in him and he perked up just in time for Nash-vegas!

We stayed at the JW Marriott and had dinner before the game at The Palm which was great and so easy. These two were hilarious the whole weekend and had the best time together.

They had awesome seats one row off the glass…

And then came up and sat in some empty seats in front of us for the 3rd period to get a different view. It was a great game and the Predators won!

Some mini hockey sticks purchased at the game entertained them the rest of the night! ha!

The next morning we had a fantastic brunch at Milk and Honey and then went to The Putt Shack which is a super cool interactive putt putt course. The holes were so neat and it was a lot of fun!
