busy week ahead!
Cutie in a new dance outfit!!
Love her! Make it a great week!
We celebrated Spencer on Tuesday in between all the things…the day started early…
with plenty of buddies at our house by 7:15am for bible club! But he did get to pick the breakfast – donuts!
After school he got to make his very own pick of birthday treat…brownies of course!
Then it was off to football…
then we finally got to have his birthday dinner at Mexico Lindo at 8:00 after Maxwell’s football game and Samantha’s soccer game. I think it was worth the wait though. We then made it home for brownies and presents about 9:00…
He was pretty pumped to get both Madden 23 and NBA 2K 23!!
I sure to love this sweet birthday boy and happy I get to celebrate him even if it was a late night!
Happy Birthday Spencey!
Last weekend Spencer got his very own “yes day!” just like Maxwell did for his birthday! He had a crew of buddies and we started out at Defy jump park…
Really doesn’t get much cuter than this!
After plenty of jumping, we headed over to Tecate – with a little present opening in the car on the way over!!
Tecate was good – and the fact that we got to watch the second half of the Alabama Tennessee game was good – but the outcome of the game was not good. Oh well! Roll Tide!
We then headed over to the movies where there were Icess and candy for all…
and a showing of Lyle Lyle Crocodile. Not gonna lie, it was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen but it didn’t bother these boys. We were basically the only ones in the theater and they had plenty of fun cutting up the whole time.
A fun celebration for my very favorite ten year old!!! Happy Birthday Spencer!

I sure do love this kid. As I say every year, he’s a happy kid who plays hard, tries hard, and loves hard. He’s so easy going but definitely knows what he wants. He and Maxwell will fight like cats and dogs but also be the ultimate yard football teammates and gamer partners. When it’s just Spencer and Samantha they are two peas in a pod. They can make each other laugh like no other!! He’s such a good brother to them both and I cannot imagine where any of us would all be without our happy glue in the middle! The more Spencer grows up, the more of Robert I see in him. He’s laid back and doesn’t get frazzled easily. He knows what he wants and will stick to that decision once it’s made. He’s really not concerned with what others think! This kid also loves his creature comforts – give him a good blanket and his iPad or Xbox and he’s set for life! He’s a sleeper too – he gets all snuggled into the very middle of his bed and would stay there all day if I let him.
Spencer is doing excellent in school. He’s in 4th grade with Mrs. Faulker and Mrs. Margaritis and everything comes pretty easy to him. 4th grade is more challenging than 3rd and we’ve been doing some studying but he’s done well on everything. Spencey is a likable guy and has good friends but is also friends with everyone. Most of his core group from kindergarten are still his favorites but he’s picked up some new best buds from his class this year. He’s a friendly, loyal kid who makes friends easily.
Spencer is a good athlete and brings the hustle and the heart. He’s been putting in the work and it’s starting to really pay off. Last year was a year to prove himself and this year has been the year he’s gotten to show off what he can do! He played a big leadership role on his summer baseball team and now he’s getting to be QB on his football team. He’s also back on his OTM team after an impressive run on Flyers in basketball. He works hard and does what he needs to do without complaint. I do think he’s happiest with a ball – or gaming controller!! – in his hands! Spence continues to keep his good attitude about it all. He’s the best encourager of his teammates, doesn’t take it all too seriously and doesn’t take the losses too hard. He’s just in it for the fun!
