Christmas Eve
We’ve checked our list twice. We’ve been (mostly) nice all year. We’re ready for Santa!!
Merry Christmas Eve!
School holiday fun
There was lots of Christmas cheer up at school last week!
The 5th graders went caroling in the village. They were all decked out!
And they had a big party in the auditorium for the whole grade with gift exchanges for the boys and girls. Loved getting to be around them all together!
I then got to go to the 1st grade party where the girls and boys did separate book exchanges. Love this sweet age!
This cute group built this Chrysler building in stem! Great job!
On Friday everyone was happy for the last day of school, especially Samantha who got to wear pjs!
I was happy Spencer finally got to go back to school so I could go up and be the mystery guest in his class! I took blank notecards and $5 Starbucks cards and had the kids make Christmas cards for people around the school and then they all ran off to deliver them. It was a hit! I also read them a Christmas book.
It’s been so nice to be back in the classroom after no one was allowed in last year. I don’t take it for granted!! Thankful for this great school and all the fun holiday activities they planned!
Gingerbread Houses
We did make it up to MBC to decorate gingerbread houses. Poor Spencer was home like this…
but the others had fun making their masterpieces with friends!
Christmas fun all around!
Mrs. Susan
It’s not a full Christmas celebration unless we get to celebrate with Mrs. Susan!! She stopped by last week with presents we could only expect from Mrs. Susan!! In Mrs. Susan’s world, bigger is always better!
Of course Mrs. Susan always has something up her sleeve and the kids started opening those giant boxes only to discover…another box! ha!
But inside those smaller boxes were some pretty awesome gifts!
She knocked it out of the park with a Holiday Barbie for Samantha and Bryce Young jerseys for the boys! So awesome!!
While the gifts are great, the best part is always getting to see Mrs. Susan and give her a big hug!
We love you Mrs. Susan! Merry Christmas!
