Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Well, there are worse places to be stuck for the next 3 weeks than at home! School is cancelled and we’re practicing “social distancing” to keep ourselves and others healthy. The kids were supposed to have eDay work for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week but, after there were several confirmed cases right in our community, they just cancelled it all until April 6th. The kids are excited about no school but not super excited about spending the next 3 weeks in isolation! I’m trying to make it fun…we’ve played Spot It and Uno…
I learned how to play Four Square with them…
We did a painting project…
We made brownies…
(clearly if one of us has Corona we’re all doomed! ha!)
We also went for a walk. It was a beautiful day!
Yep, we’ve been busy…too bad all of that was done before 3:00 on day 1! It’s gonna be a long 3 weeks…
but we can do it!
It’s Friday the 13th but I’m not scared*. I’ve got nothing but sunshine and rainbows around here!
Have a great weekend!
*ok, maybe just a little scared at the prospect of being self quarantined at home with the kids! Go away Coronavirus!
It’s raining here…again…all week long. Good thing I’ve got all the sunshine I need right here!!
Love my Samantha sunshine!
The boys had quite the adventure last Friday night and slept at the zoo! They got to see some animals…
ride the carousel (oh boy!)…
and go on a scavenger hunt that involved looking for sticks to sharpen in the lion’s den…kidding. That was Robert’s joke! Although I think that was what Maxwell was expecting! He didn’t like it that so many of the animals were inside and sleeping. Can’t blame those animals though…it was cold that night! My boys pitched a tent and bundled up…
and they were still frozen when they got home the next morning. Brrr! Despite the cold, they had a great time. Snoozing at the zoo!
