Sunday morning stroll to Starbucks…
as good as it gets!
I always planned to take Samantha to get her first pedicure at some point, but thought I would wait for her birthday or some other special occasion. Well, last Saturday seemed special enough when her friend asked her to go get one with her! I tagged along and got one too – I couldn’t miss her first bit of pampering!!
These two were the cutest. Giggling and chatting the entire time. Samantha chose a lovely glittery turquoise polish!
They could not be any cuter! Girls are the most fun!!
On Veteran’s Day last week the kids were out of school and we made the most of it! The boys went to a Top Golf camp that morning while Samantha got to take a friend to Let’s Play. So fun! After lunch, we all headed downtown to watch the Veteran’s Day Parade. Apparently Birmingham has the largest Veteran’s Day Parade in the country! It was a beautiful day and we were able to get a parking spot, find some friends, and had a prime time place from which to watch the parade.
A great day all around!
We finished our trip with a half day in Animal Kingdom sans guide. Ready for a fun day…
After Samantha didn’t get on to Space Mountain the day before, I wasn’t messing around and put 3 sugar packets underneath the gel inserts in her tall shoes! I was going to get her onto Everest and Flight of Passage!! It worked!!! Look at this happy roller coaster rider!
The boys loved it too!
They checked Samantha’s height 3 times before letting her on Flight of Passage but she passed each time and got to ride it. It was so cool and I’m so glad she got to do it! We also did the Safari, the Rapids, and wasted money on the games in DinoLand. A good day all around!
We then headed to the airport to fly home after the most awesome Disney experience ever! I may never be able to go back to having to wait in lines again!!! A huge thanks to GJ and Daddo for making it all happen!!
